TWISTS & TURNS – NEW ALBUM OUT NOW!!!
Following the release of the 2023 album I Know Who I Am and the 2025 EP The Waiting, Twists & Turns is a collection of songs born from a season of uncertainty, faith and discovering God's faithfulness in the middle of life's unexpected journeys.
Written and recorded during one of the most challenging periods our family has faced, the album was created against the backdrop of a major house fire that left us unable to live in our home for ten months. As plans changed, routines disappeared and life took turns we never anticipated, these songs became a soundtrack of trust, perseverance and hope.
"Life took some twists and turns that we never expected, but through every step of the journey we discovered again that God's faithfulness isn't dependent on our circumstances. These songs were written in uncertainty, but they tell the story of a God who never changes."
Rather than focusing on the circumstances themselves, Twists & Turns points to the God who remains faithful through every circumstance. Across twelve tracks, the album explores themes of trusting God when life doesn't make sense, praising Him in difficult seasons, finding hope in His promises and discovering that His presence remains constant even when everything else feels uncertain.
The album features ten original songs alongside a recording of Glorious Ruins, a song that became a family anthem throughout the recovery process and a reimagined version of the beloved hymn Abide With Me.
From declarations of faith and perseverance to moments of surrender and gratitude, Twists & Turns reflects a journey of learning that God's goodness is not dependent on circumstances. Whether in seasons of blessing or seasons of trial, the message remains the same: God is faithful, God is present and God is still at work.
At its heart, Twists & Turns is a testimony that even when life takes unexpected turns, God is never absent from the journey.

The irony of a project called The Waiting being delayed by 8 months is not lost on me! This project has been hard for so many reasons but it's the thing I'm most proud of to date. Is it my best? Who knows, that's subjective I guess but it's my most honest and vulnerable set of songs and tells a story from start to finish of a difficult journey God took me on (and continues to take me on) in learning to trust Him. From the opening line of song 1 which says "Staring at this empty page looking for a plan, God have You forsaken me?" to the last line of the final song which says "I will rest in You Lord" the EP will take you on a journey of the highs and lows of being in God's waiting room; the emotions, the doubts, the faith, and the realisation that He is still God through it all!
